Fifth win in a row for Real Madrid: this was the goal, as said by Xabi Alonso after the bad defeat in the derby. In the match against València, the Blancos showed great football and the current top form of Kylian Mbappé, who was celebrated as Golden Boot winner by the fans at the Bernabéu.

In the amazing 4-0 win on Saturday, the midifield was decisive once again.

Matchday 11: Focus on Arda Güler

Arda Güler started as central midfielder alongside Tchouaméni but during the match he moved a lot on the pitch. He often moved wide to the right wing, covering Mastantuono's position while he came inside. Whenever the team needed to create overload to defend or attack, Güler was there. The first chance he created was at minute 5 with a stunning pass for Mbappé. Later he moved to the left wing and from there he played another brilliant through-ball for Mbappé who scored.

Güler played on the left wing till the end of the first half. In the additional time he even had a chance himself but València's goalkeeper Agirrezabala saved. Güler was subbed off after 45 minutes. All in all it was a wise decision: he had suffered a blow to the ankle after just two minutes, Real was winning 3-0, and there is a big upcoming Champions League match against Liverpool.

Arda Güler played a solid match as always. Construction, ball recovery, clever passes: he's going to be the key player in the midfield and maybe he's really meant to be Luka Modrić's heir.
