Midweek match for Real Madrid, against a tough opponent: Athletic Bilbao. After three disappointing matches (and draws) in a row, finally Real Madrid played a solid match, with more focus, more consistency and great team spirit. A 3-0 win at San Mamés is really remarkable and the two goals by Mbappé were simply astonishing!
Matchday 15: Focus on Eduardo Camavinga
Camavinga is definitely one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, and forms a fantastic duo with Tchouaméni. He's not an indisputable starter, but his contribution to the team is always very important.
He started on the right wing, then during the match he came inside many times, and did good in the 1v1 against Nico Williams. His ability to circulate the ball, create overload, press and recover balls is really priceless. Usually he doesn't run to the box very often, but yesterday he did it at the right time and scored a great header right before half time. That was his first goal of the season.
In the second half, Camavinga really covered almost all the pitch, from the right, to the midfield, to the left and also more often to the box. He got fouled by Álex Berenguer at minute 68 and had to be subbed off due to an ankle knock. I really hope it's nothing serious (no parte médico as for now)!
Camavinga played a great match. He has had many injuries lately, but I hope he can get consistent playtime from now on.
